What will you do

As a Project Manager, you are ultimately responsible for delivering the projects assigned to you within the agreed-upon timeline, quality, project specifications, and budgets. You oversee this process from start to finish, from engineering to the final delivery. You work closely with the project team members, such as a project engineer, production manager, supervisor, planner, and estimator. Your role is to ensure the maximum performance of individual project team members by fostering good collaboration; motivating, stimulating, coaching, and intervening corrective actions when necessary.

You proactively utilize the knowledge and experience within the project team and the organization through early, often multidisciplinary discussions with team members and specialists. Additionally, you are responsible for drafting, updating, communicating, and monitoring the project plan, project guidelines, and all other documents necessary for project realization. Contract management is a crucial aspect of the role, including ensuring the scope, maintaining current contract information, and handling changes within the contract.

Together with the estimator/budget keeper, you ensure proper financial management and monitoring of costs and hours. You identify variations in work, deviations, and take corrective measures while ensuring proper communication with the client. You report to the Director of Projects.

What we require

You have a completed HBO (Higher Professional Education) degree in a technical or business-related field. You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience within a technical, project-driven organization. Strong analytical skills are expected, enabling you to determine the right direction and make informed decisions. You are results-oriented, even in the face of setbacks, can quickly adapt, and prefer to think in terms of solutions. You have extensive experience with contract management. Finally, you have an excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages and very good knowledge of MS Office.

What we offer

We offer a versatile and independent position within a challenging work environment with a pleasant atmosphere. Furthermore, you can count on a competitive salary, a company car, and good employment conditions, including 24 vacation days and 19 days off for reduced working hours (ATV days).
