We are an interior construction company, founded in 1964 and located in Strijen, specialized in the production and installation of exclusive interiors, particularly for very luxurious yachts. We operate in the top segment of the market and work for renowned Dutch yacht builders and architects.
With approximately 110 permanent employees supplemented by a flexible workforce, we work daily on the realization of customer-specific assignments. What will you do
As a supervisor, you are part of our Field Service department and responsible for the on-site installation of the project assigned to you. The colleagues in our field service department are responsible for placing and installing exclusive interiors on luxury yachts. The tasks include laying floors, installing walls, assembling ceilings, and placing furniture made in the workshop.
As a supervisor, you lead the employees of your team on-site, ensure the correct workload distribution, provide the necessary project information, and ensure that the established schedule and budget are met. You identify additional and reduced work, disruptions in the progress of ongoing work, maintain and report contact with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. All of this in close collaboration with the project manager. Additionally, you ensure that the team works safely and that the results meet quality standards. You are a resource and point of contact for your project and report to the Field Service Manager and Project Manager.
What we require
We are looking for a colleague with at least vocational education (MBO) level and demonstrable experience with large projects, preferably in luxury yacht or shipbuilding. You are communicatively skilled, an organizational talent, inventive, social, and independent. Additionally, you have a healthy sense of responsibility and are results-oriented. Finally, you have technical and mathematical insight and a good command of the English language. Due to the international nature of the position, you are willing to travel and stay abroad.
